International Women’s Day 8 March activities 2022

IRAP Contribution

The CNRS Occitanie Ouest is mobilising in favour of the visibility of women scientists with the operation Women scientists come out of the shadows. This day of meetings, debates and activities is scheduled at the Quai des savoirs, on 8 March, so that this international day for women’s rights can also talk about science.

The partners of this event (the CNRS Occitanie Ouest, the Quai des Savoirs and the associations Femmes & Sciences, Maths en scène and Club de la presse) have chosen mathematics as the flagship discipline of this edition in order to increase its visibility thanks to the festival “Les Maths dans tous leurs états”, which will be held from 8 to 25 March 2022, with the strong support of the Toulouse Institute of Mathematics (IMT-CNRS, UT3, INSA Toulouse).

Our coordinator, Natalie Webb, will participate in this event with a scientific speed dating, on the 8th at 15:00h.
